Woohooo!! I am a 2019 Ugandan Diaspora, Animator Award Recipient ~ On behalf of the entire Nkoza and Nankya team, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Ugandan Diaspora Network Awards organized by Ronnie Mayanja in partnership with Dr. Maggie Kigozi. Even though I was not able to make it to the event in person, I am eternally grateful to you all for sharing in this moment to celebrate the work my team and I have been doing to champion the love for our rich and diverse Ugandan cultural heritage and languages, through Nkoza and Nankya. Thank you so much for this recognition and for shining a light on the value of using storytelling and animation in promoting our beautiful country, Uganda. I am confident that if we all continue to work together, we will help our children grow up knowing and loving their Cultural Heritage and Languages.
